STUDY 01 / Kitchens
A warmer kind of kitchen.
A kitchen imagined around the everyday ritual of coming together. Honest materials, generous surfaces, and a quieter kind of warmth.

FSFRESH STARTCONCEPT NOTES
What if the kitchen felt like a gathering place before it felt like a workspace?
Let the materials do the talking.
We begin with the island as a shared table: somewhere to prepare dinner, pause with a coffee, or keep someone company. Rather than add more decorative gestures, we give oak, stone, and daylight enough space to be noticed. Warmth comes from texture and proportion, not from filling every surface.
ON THE STUDIO TABLE
Warmth, without visual weight.
Pale oak and ivory stone sit close in tone. A small amount of aged bronze gives the softer surfaces an edge; linen keeps the palette relaxed.

THE ART OF CHOOSING
Every decision,
with a reason.
The island establishes a quiet horizontal line. A single pendant brings the eye back to the center, while the windows keep the room connected to the desert beyond.
Make room to gather.
Place the social edge of the island away from the busiest preparation zone. The idea is connection without making every conversation a crossing path.
Use restraint as a detail.
Keep the cabinetry rhythm simple and the hardware consistent. Fewer competing lines let the natural grain carry the character of the room.
Let light reveal texture.
Honed surfaces scatter light more gently than glossy ones. We imagine the room changing through the day rather than relying on a strong decorative contrast.
