DESIGN CONCEPT
Think in routines
Trace the path from the refrigerator to preparation space, cooking, and cleanup. Note where people cross paths and where more usable surface would make a difference. A new finish can change the mood; a thoughtful layout can change the routine.
Make storage specific
Inventory the things you use, including small appliances, cookware, recycling, and pantry items. Consider what deserves easy access and what can be stored away. Bring this list into your scope discussion before cabinetry is selected.
See materials in your light
Review samples together in the room at different times of day. Ask suppliers about maintenance, stain resistance, heat limits, and care. Natural variation can be part of a material’s appeal, but it should be understood before committing.
Confirm feasibility first
Moving plumbing, adding electrical loads, or changing walls can affect scope and approvals. Have the proposed changes assessed by appropriately qualified professionals. This guide offers design inspiration and does not establish the company’s available service scope.
A useful next step.
